Red cabbage and apple


Ingredients:
5 / 6 leaves of red cabbage washed and cut into fine strips, 1/2 sweet apple pealed and sliced (slices not too fine), 1/2 spoon of raisins, sesame seed or olive oil, pinch of sea salt, umeboshi vinegar.



Directions:
On a medium flame cook the cabbage with a bit of hot oil (5 min).
Add 1/3 glass of water and the raisins. Low the heat and cook for about 10 / 15 min with the lid on.
Add the apples on top and a pinch of salt (replace the water if necessary and cook another 10 min).
Secret: Adding a few drops of umeboshi vinegar in the end will give the veggies a lovely taste and will intensify the colour of the cabbage.
Garnish with parsley or tops of spring onions. Serve hot and enjoy!
