Follow this recipe to have quinoa ready to mix with different ingredients to create diverse and delicious meals.
Ingredients:
1 cup of quinoa, 2 cups of water, pinch of sea salt.
NOTE: Soak the grain before cooking it and discard the soaking water.
Directions:
Rinse the quinoa and place it in a saucepant. Add the water and salt and bring to the boil.
Reduce to a simmer, cover and cook until all the water is absorbed (15 - 20 minutes).
NOTE: You will know that the quinoa is done when all the grains have turned from white to transparent, and the spiral-like germ has separated.
